We are currently looking for a Data Architect with exposure to cloud technologies to work exclusively with one of our top clients, one of the largest and most well-respected companies in the country.

What’s your day-to-day


You will be working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, so you can never expect to have just another typical day at work. Sometimes you will feel out of your comfort zone, but you will probably never feel bored!


On any particular day you will be doing several of the following:

  • Design and architect end-to-end data engineering solutions
  • Work closely with Product Owner and Engineers to design new flows and migrate the existing ones to GCP.
  • Perform analysis, design, and implementation of modern data warehouse structures in GCP to meet clients’ requirements and expectations.
  • Work closely with ETL Engineers to ensure smooth data feed from different sources to GCP.
  • Design, build, test and deploy advanced ETL flows to transform and transfer enterprise data to cloud.
  • Migrate already in-place procedures and flows from database/systems (e.g. Data Warehouse) to GCP.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and Business Stakeholders to understand business objectives.
  • Review requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendation documents with clear project deliverables and timelines in order to ensure business continuity.

Job requirements

Your professional expertise

In order to be successful for the role you would have:

  • A university degree or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or another relative discipline.
  • 3+ years of working experience in Data Engineering projects/tasks (Strong data warehouse understanding), at least 2 of which in a cloud engineering environment (any stack) and 1 of which as a Solution Architect 
  • Hands-on experience in Cloud environments (Knowledge of GCP & Big Query will be considered a big plus)
  • Working knowledge on Big Data pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of Python/PySpark and SQL
  • Good knowledge of Data Structures, Data Marts, Data warehousing using Cloud technologies (GCP preferably).
  • Knowledge of best practices around indexing and query performance.
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering.
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
  • Fluent English, spoken and written.

Nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of Kafka / Data Flow/ Data Fusion.
  • Experience in CI/CD.
  • Working in an Agile team within an Enterprise environment.
